Master Bath Inspiration

Cielo (House in the Roses) totally inspired me to make up a new counter display in my master bath.

I had the little flower arrangement already in there.

As well as the washcloths.

I picked up one apothecary jar at Hobby Lobby for 50% off.

And then found another one the same day at Savers.

Cotton balls in one and swabs in the other.

Found the tray at Savers a few weeks ago.  Needs a little work but that's for another day.  Estate sale find doily goes in the tray.

Beads are an estate sale find, too!

This was fun!  Just needed to do a little nesting.

I've been slack in my postings lately.  Taking a college class and studying for a certification.  Plus swamped at work.  Very busy.  I'll try to stay in touch weekly.

Five Minute Rainbow

We had a storm pass through several days ago.  I saw there was a rainbow, ran and got my camera, took this shot, looked away to set the camera down, and it was gone!

Haven't been taking a whole lot of pictures lately as there hasn't been too much going on in my life.  So my subjects have reverted to the below.  My house buddy and me were enjoying our front porch and our neighbor's kinda dorky, but loveable rottweiler mix was out and about.  At one point I thought his tongue was going to hit the ground!

My Friend's Tablescape

I went to a "duckling" baby shower on Sunday.  What a cute idea!  My friend, Maryellen, is kindly allowing me to post pictures of her tablescape (and her delicious buffet).  She is incredibly creative and has a beautiful home.

Some guests had already taken their dinner plates when I started taking pictures:

The centerpiece is a mom duck and her ducklings "floating" down a river of white tulle with flickering tealites (electric), clear ornaments, white styrofoam balls and pink daisies.

Here's what the place settings looked like.  Don't you love the drip catchers under the water and wine glasses?  She even found cocktail napkins to match her dinnerware!  The napkin rings are pacifiers.

She made a delicous peach drink to start everyone off with.

The buffet!  Delicious!

Okay, and I have to throw in a couple of pictures of my morning glories which are getting out of control over my backyard arbor.
